The expected DA from January 2022 may be increased by 3% and the total DA is likely to hike to 34%

 

The percentage of DA from January 2022 will be 34% of basic pay for Central Government employees and pensioners including India Post Employees and gramin Dak Sevak (GDS BPM/ABPM /Dak Sevak). The DA percentage will be decided by the trending of AICPIN data, however, we can guess the DA will increase by 3% from the existing rate from January 2022 .

   Central Government has approved to hike 3% of additional Dearness Allowance to Central Government employees and pensioners with effect from 1st July 2021. The total percentage of Dearness Allowance is now 31%.
